Display isn't showing tickets
Symptoms
- The screen is blank or stuck on "Loading…"
- Tickets are being called but the screen doesn't update
- The screen is frozen on an old ticket number
✅ Checklist
- Does the PC/mini-PC have internet? Open any website to confirm.
- Is the display URL correct? In Displays, the "Open display public view" icon opens the right one: compare it with the PC's.
- Is Chrome in fullscreen? Press F11.
- Does the display show the right services? → Displays → edit → Services to show.
The display loads but tickets don't refresh
The display asks the server for tickets every 3 seconds. If it stops updating, the replies aren't reaching it.
Common causes:
- No internet or unstable WiFi on the PC. Switch to Ethernet if possible.
- Proxy or firewall on the network blocking yourturn.space. It must allow
https://yourturn.space. - PC in sleep mode → disable sleep under
Settings → System → Power.
The display freezes after several hours
Set Chrome to auto-reload the page every 6-12 hours:
Free extension: Easy Auto Refresh → configure reload every 6 hours.
Or with a Windows script (Task Scheduler):
@echo off
taskkill /f /im chrome.exe
timeout /t 2
start chrome --kiosk "DISPLAY_URL"
Schedule this script to run at 7:00 AM (before the business opens).
The display shows "Display not found"
The URL contains the ID of a display that doesn't exist (for example, it was deleted and created again). Open the right one from the panel, Displays → "Open display public view" icon, and put that address in the PC's Chrome.
