Printer not printing

Follow this checklist in order. It solves most cases in under 5 minutes.

✅ Quick checklist

  • Does the printer have paper and is it on? Open the cover and check the LED.
  • Does the panel show "Server online"? → Printers, on the printer's card. If not, open the Print Server on the PC.
  • Does the Print Server's "Test print" work? → the Print Server's Printer tab.
  • Does the kiosk have the printer assigned? → Kiosks → edit → Printer.
  • Is the kiosk open with its full link? → Kiosks → copy icon. Without the link's token the kiosk shows "This kiosk isn't set up to issue tickets" and doesn't issue tickets.

The test prints but kiosk tickets don't

  1. Check the kiosk has that printer assigned and not another one.
  2. Take a test ticket at the kiosk and see if it appears in the panel (Queue). If it appears but doesn't print, open the printer's history (the clock icon in Printers): it shows whether the job arrived and why it failed. Then close and reopen the Print Server.
  3. If the Print Server was closed for more than 30 minutes, tickets from that period won't print (the tickets themselves still exist).

The test doesn't print either

The problem is between the PC and the printer (IP, network, printer off). See the full diagnostics.

Still not solved

Write to us from the panel (your user menu, top right → "Send feedback or report a problem") or, if you're a partner, open a thread in the technical forum, including:

  1. A screenshot of the printer's card in the panel (server status).
  2. A screenshot of the Print Server's Printer tab (IP and port).
  3. Printer model and connection type (Ethernet or WiFi).
